Pay for the video you have. No subscription.
Short answer
EasyClip uses prepaid tokens. One token is one included clip, and a video includes about 10 clips per hour, so a 3-hour stream uses 30 tokens. Packs start at $10 for 30 tokens. Tokens never expire, and slots we can’t fill with good clips come back as tokens.

The rules
How many tokens does a video use?
One token for every started 6 minutes of video. That’s about 10 included clips per hour, and you don’t pick a number.
- A 30-second grace. Each 6-minute block gets 30 seconds of slack, so a 1:00:30 video uses 10 tokens, not 11.
- A minimum of 5. Anything up to 30:30 uses 5 tokens.
- Up to 12 hours and 8 GB per upload. Longer or larger files are rejected before any tokens are held, so re-encode or split them first.
- Held, then charged. Tokens are held when the job starts and only charged for clips we deliver.

What common videos cost
Computed from the same formula the upload uses. “Days” assumes 3 posts a day and every included slot filled. Prices are the tokens used times each pack’s price per token.

|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 12-minute vlog or lesson | 5 | up to 5 | 1 | $1.67 | $1.50 | $1.40 | $1.33 |
| 45-minute podcast episode | 8 | up to 8 | 2 | $2.67 | $2.40 | $2.24 | $2.13 |
| 1-hour webinar | 10 | up to 10 | 3 | $3.33 | $3.00 | $2.80 | $2.67 |

| 3-hour stream | 30 | up to 30 | 10 | $10.00 | $9.00 | $8.40 | $8.00 |
| 8-hour RP stream | 80 | up to 80 | 26 | $26.67 | $24.00 | $22.40 | $21.33 |

Extras
What if the video has more good clips?
When a job finishes, good clips beyond the included ones are listed with a title, the opening line (or what happens on screen), the timestamp, and the length. Take all of them or pick the ones you want. Extras cost 1 token for every 2 clips.
Extras stay available for 7 days after the job finishes. After that they expire and we delete the source video.
Example
A 3-hour stream includes 30 clips. Say it also has 12 more worth posting.

Refunds
When do tokens come back?
- 01
Fewer good clips
If a video has fewer clips worth posting than it includes, each unfilled slot comes back as a token.
- 02
An extra fails
If an extra you asked for can’t be rendered, the tokens for it come back.
- 03
The job fails
If the job fails, every token held for it comes back.
Refunds are made in tokens.
Per clip
What does each clip cost, and what do you get?
| Pack | Tokens | Price | Per included clip | Per extra clip | Covers up to |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | 30 | $10 | $0.33 | $0.17 | 3 hours of video |
| Creator | 100 | $30 | $0.30 | $0.15 | 10 hours of video |
| Pro | 250 | $70 | $0.28 | $0.14 | 25 hours of video |
| Studio | 600 | $160 | $0.27 | $0.13 | 60 hours of video |
- An MP4 cut from your original file. The framing you uploaded is kept. We don’t crop to vertical yet.
- A transcript and an SRT file. Use them for captions and post copy. Captions aren’t burned into the video.
- A checked opening. Clips that don’t match their intended opening get a “Double-check” or “Needs a listen” note, so you know which to look at first. How that works
Pricing questions
Is there a subscription?
No. You buy a pack of tokens when you have footage to clip. Nothing renews.
Do tokens expire?
No. Tokens stay in your account until you use them.
What sets the number of clips?
The length of the video: one token per started 6 minutes, with a 30-second grace, and each token is one included clip. That works out to about 10 clips per hour.
What if my video has fewer good clips than it includes?
We don't pad the batch with weak moments. Every included slot we can't fill with a clip worth posting goes back to your account as a token.
Why is there a 5-token minimum?
Every video is watched and listened to in full, and every clip is cut, transcribed, and checked, which costs something even for a short video. The minimum covers that. Anything up to 30:30 uses 5 tokens, and unfilled slots still come back.
Does a video with no talking cost the same?
Yes. The price depends on length, not on how much is said. The AI watches the picture and listens to the sound either way, so a GoPro run or silent gameplay can still produce clips. Speech is the most reliable signal, so quiet footage often has fewer good moments, and every slot we can't fill comes back as a token.
What happens to my video after the job?
We keep the source video for 7 days after the job finishes so you can add extras. After that the extras expire and the source video is deleted. Your finished clips and transcripts stay in your account until you ask us to delete them or close your account.
Is this cheaper than a subscription clipping tool?
It depends on how much you upload. A subscription can cost less per video if you process a lot of footage every month. Prepaid tokens make more sense when you have footage some weeks and not others, because nothing renews and unused tokens don't expire.
Have a recording ready?
Sign in, buy a pack, and upload it. You’ll see how many tokens it uses before the job starts.
