Terms of Service
Last updated
The short version
- You need to be at least 18 years old, and you sign in with Google.
- Your videos and clips stay yours. You give us permission only to store, process, and deliver them, and we don’t use them to train our own AI models.
- Only upload videos you own or have permission to use. No illegal content, harassment, or malware.
- Clips are picked by AI and can be wrong. Check them before you post. We can’t promise views, followers, or growth.
- Tokens are prepaid, don’t expire, and aren’t a subscription. The Refund Policy explains when you can get money back.
This summary is here to help. The full text below is what applies.
1. These terms
EasyClip is run by {{OPERATOR_LEGAL_NAME}}, an individual based in the United States. In these terms, “EasyClip,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean {{OPERATOR_LEGAL_NAME}} and the EasyClip service. “You” means the person using it.
By creating an account or using EasyClip, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy, our Refund Policy, and our Copyright Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use EasyClip.
2. Who can use EasyClip
You must be at least 18 years old to use EasyClip. If you’re under the age of adulthood where you live, you need a parent or guardian’s permission, and they agree to these terms for you.
You sign in with your Google account. Keep that account secure. You’re responsible for what happens under your EasyClip account, so tell us right away if you think someone else has used it.
If you use EasyClip for a business or a channel you run with others, you confirm you’re allowed to accept these terms for them.
3. What EasyClip does
You upload a long video, such as a stream, gameplay session, podcast, vlog, or sports footage. We store it on Google Cloud, use Google’s Gemini AI models to find moments worth clipping, cut the clips from your file, check the cuts, and make transcripts and caption files. Videos can be up to 12 hours long.
We’ll keep improving EasyClip, which means features may change, be added, or be removed. If a change takes away something you’ve paid for, we’ll make it right, for example by returning tokens.
We try to keep EasyClip running smoothly, but it may sometimes be slow, unavailable, or have bugs. Jobs can fail. When a job fails, its tokens come back, as described in the Refund Policy.
4. AI picks the clips, and it can be wrong
Clips, titles, timestamps, and transcripts are made with AI. AI makes mistakes. A clip might start or end in the wrong place, miss the best moment, take something out of context, or come with a transcript that has wrong words in it.
Watch every clip and read every title and caption before you post it. You decide what to publish, and you’re responsible for what you post.
We don’t promise that any clip will get views, followers, engagement, income, or growth of any kind. Posting regularly gives you more chances to be discovered, but no tool can guarantee results.
5. Tokens and payments
EasyClip runs on prepaid tokens. There’s no subscription, and tokens don’t expire. You can buy these packs:
- Starter: 30 tokens for $10 USD
- Creator: 100 tokens for $30 USD
- Pro: 250 tokens for $70 USD
- Studio: 600 tokens for $160 USD
A video costs 1 token for every started 6 minutes of footage, which works out to 10 tokens per hour, with a minimum of 5 tokens. Each token covers one included clip. The exact math is on the Pricing page.
For 7 days after a job finishes, while we still have your original video, you can buy extra clips we found beyond the included ones. Extras cost 1 token for every 2 clips, rounded up.
If a video doesn’t have enough good moments to fill all of its included clips, the tokens for the clips we don’t deliver go back to your balance automatically. If a job fails, every token it used goes back to your balance.
Payments are handled by Stripe. Prices are in US dollars and may not include taxes that apply where you live. We never see or store your full card number.
Tokens aren’t money. They have no cash value, can’t be transferred to another account or sold, and can only be used on EasyClip. If we change prices or how many tokens a video costs, we’ll show the new numbers before you start a job, and tokens you already have keep working.
Purchased tokens aren’t refundable for cash except as described in the Refund Policy or where the law requires it.
6. Your videos and clips belong to you
You keep ownership of the videos you upload and of the clips, titles, and transcripts we make from them (together, “your content”). We don’t claim any ownership of your content.
You give us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to host, store, copy, transcode, analyze, and process your content, to make clips, transcripts, and captions from it, and to show and deliver the results to you. That includes sending it to the service providers named in our Privacy Policy, such as Google, to do that work. We use this permission only to run EasyClip for you, to keep it safe, and to follow the law.
This permission ends when your content is deleted, except for copies we must keep for legal reasons or that remain briefly in backups until they’re overwritten.
We don’t use your videos or clips to train our own AI models, and we don’t use them in our marketing without asking you first.
7. What you can upload
Only upload videos you own or have permission to use. That includes everything in them: other people’s footage, broadcasts, music, and the people who appear on camera. You’re responsible for having the rights you need, both to upload a video here and to post the clips anywhere else.
You also agree not to upload or use EasyClip for:
- anything illegal, or anything that helps someone break the law;
- any content that sexualizes minors. We report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children as the law requires, and we close the account;
- sexual or intimate images of anyone shared without their consent;
- harassment, threats, bullying, hate, or sharing someone’s private information;
- content that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights;
- malware, or files designed to damage, disrupt, or break into systems;
- attempts to get around limits or payments, access other people’s accounts or data, scrape or overload the service, or reverse engineer it;
- anything Google’s Generative AI Prohibited Use Policy forbids, because our AI provider requires it.
If you see content that sexualizes a minor, report it to {{CONTACT_EMAIL}} and to the NCMEC CyberTipline.
8. What we can do if the rules are broken
We don’t watch every upload, but we may review content when it’s reported, when something looks wrong, or when the law requires it. If we believe content or an account breaks these terms or the law, we may remove the content, stop a job, limit features, or suspend or close the account. We may also report illegal content to the authorities.
When we act, we’ll try to tell you why, unless the law stops us or telling you would put someone at risk. If you think we made a mistake, email us and we’ll take another look.
If we close your account because you broke these terms, we won’t refund unused tokens, except where the law requires it. Copyright complaints follow our Copyright Policy.
9. EasyClip itself
The EasyClip software, website, name, and logo belong to us. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to use EasyClip as these terms allow. Nothing else transfers to you.
If you send us ideas or feedback, we can use them without owing you anything. Thank you in advance.
10. Other services
EasyClip relies on other companies, including Google for sign-in, storage, and AI, and Stripe for payments. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to what they do. When you post clips to TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, or anywhere else, that platform’s rules apply, and following them is up to you.
11. Deleting content and closing your account
To delete a video and its clips, email {{CONTACT_EMAIL}} from the email address on your account. We’ll remove the video, its clips, and the titles, timestamps, and transcript text that go with them. We delete your original video no later than 7 days after its job finishes. It can go sooner, for example when a job fails or there are no extra clips to offer. Clips, transcript files, and caption files stay in your account until you ask us to delete them or you close your account. If we ever start deleting them on a schedule, we’ll update this policy first and give you time to download what you want to keep. Clip titles, timestamps, and transcript text stay in your account until you ask us to delete them or close your account.
To close your account, email {{CONTACT_EMAIL}} from the email address on the account. We’ll delete your account and content as described in the Privacy Policy. Unused tokens are lost when an account is closed, unless the Refund Policy gives you a refund for them.
You can stop using EasyClip at any time. We may close accounts we can’t reasonably keep serving, and if we do that when you haven’t broken these terms, we’ll refund your unused purchased tokens.
12. Changes to EasyClip and these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we’ll tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using EasyClip after a change takes effect, the new terms apply. If you don’t agree, stop using EasyClip and ask us to close your account.
If we ever shut EasyClip down, we’ll give at least 30 days’ notice so you can download your clips, and we’ll refund unused purchased tokens at the price you paid for them.
13. No warranties
EasyClip is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We don’t promise that EasyClip will be error-free or always available, that clips or transcripts will be accurate, or that content will never be lost. Keep your own copy of your original videos.
Some places don’t allow these disclaimers, so some of this may not apply to you.
14. Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, followers, data, or opportunities, arising from your use of EasyClip, even if we were told they were possible.
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about EasyClip is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose or US$50.
These limits don’t apply to liability that can’t be limited by law, such as for fraud, gross negligence, or intentional misconduct, and they don’t take away rights you have as a consumer that can’t be waived.
15. If your content gets us into trouble
To the extent the law allows, you agree to cover our reasonable costs, including legal fees, if someone makes a claim against us because of content you uploaded or because you broke these terms or the law.
16. Disputes and governing law
If something goes wrong, please email {{CONTACT_EMAIL}} first. Most problems can be sorted out quickly, and we’ll try in good faith for 30 days before either of us goes further.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of {{GOVERNING_STATE}} and applicable US federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in {{GOVERNING_STATE}}, and we both agree to those courts’ jurisdiction. Either of us may bring a claim in small claims court instead if it qualifies.
If you live in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another place whose consumer laws give you rights these terms can’t take away, you keep those rights and can bring a claim in your local courts.
17. The fine print
- These terms, together with the policies they link to, are the whole agreement between you and us about EasyClip.
- If part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies.
- If we don’t enforce something right away, we haven’t given up the right to enforce it later.
- You can’t transfer these terms to someone else without our permission. We can transfer them to a company that takes over running EasyClip, including a business we form for it, and we’ll tell you if that happens.
- We can send you notices by email to the address on your account or in the app. You can send notices to us by email.
- Nothing in these terms creates a partnership, employment, or agency relationship.
