Webinar and lecture clips
Turn webinars, lectures, and talks into short lessons
Short answer
Upload the recording. EasyClip listens to the talk and watches the screen, then finds explanations, answers from the Q&A, and examples that make sense without the rest of the session, and starts each clip on the first word. Clips that depend on a slide nobody can read are skipped. A 1-hour webinar uses 10 tokens for up to 10 clips.
You explained something well for an hour. A few of those explanations could teach someone in a minute, if they weren't stuck in the middle of a recording.

Good teaching, buried in an hour-long recording
People rarely rewatch a full webinar, but they'll watch a clear 60-second answer to a question they have. The work is finding those answers and cutting them cleanly.
EasyClip looks for explanations with a clear start and finish. If a point only makes sense with a slide, the note is a good place to say whether the slides are readable in the recording.
A 1-hour webinar uses 10 tokens, so up to 10 included clips. The Starter pack (30 tokens for $10) covers it.
Moments to look for
- A clear answer to a common question
- Short worked examples
- Myths corrected and mistakes explained
- Q&A answers that stand alone
- A memorable framing or rule of thumb
How it works
From one recording to clips you can post
Upload the whole thing
Upload the webinar, class, or talk recording. Files can be up to 12 hours and 8 GB. We count the length and include about 10 clips per hour, with a minimum of 5 per upload. You don't pick a number.
Say who it's for
Describe the audience and the topics you want to reach, like beginners or a specific skill.
Download, then decide on extras
Use the clips for social posts, course previews, or a lesson library, with transcripts included. Extras stay available for 7 days if you want more.
What it costs
A 90-minute episode or talk uses 15 tokens: up to 15 clips, about 5 days at 3 posts a day. That’s $4.00 to $5.00 depending on the pack.
More good moments than that? Add them as extras, 2 per token, for 7 days. Unfilled slots come back as tokens. Pricing details
Good to know
- Clips keep the framing you uploaded. There’s no automatic vertical crop yet.
- Each clip comes with a transcript and an SRT file. Captions aren’t burned in.
- It watches and listens, so moments without talking count. Clear speech is still the easiest to find and check.
Common questions about webinar and lecture clips
Can clips stand alone without the slides?
The search favors explanations that work on their own. If the speaker says "as you can see here," that moment is less likely to be picked unless the slide is readable.
How long should an educational clip be?
Long enough to finish the point. Many run 45 to 90 seconds. YouTube Shorts allow up to 3 minutes.
Do I get transcripts?
Each clip comes with an SRT caption file and a transcript. Captions aren't burned into the video, so upload the SRT to the platform or import it into your editor and style it there.
Can I clip a talk I didn't give?
Only with permission from the speaker and organizer. We cut what you upload, and the rights are yours to check.
